Our Story

Welcome to Dancing Creek

Update: September 12, 2016

Our tasting room is closing. The proprietors are moving to Whidbey Island in Washington. On a trip to visit friends they came across The Bluffs on Whidbey – truly a slice of island paradise. If you are looking for a Pacific Northwest adventure, you’ll want to visit Jim and Robin at their new place, the Bluff on Whidbey Island, a small inn on the water’s edge overlooking Puget Sound and Mt. Baker.  Eventually, you’ll be able to enjoy Dancing Creek wines when you visit them on the Bluff on Whidbey!

If you’ve ever been on a tour of a winery that included row after row after row of barrels towering above your head and wondered how they got started, get to know Dancing Creek.  We give new meaning to the word “hand-crafted” wine.  Check out our 2011 family bottling our ’08 Pinot Noir.

Our goal is to produce rich and distinctive wines from grapes in the Santa Cruz Mountains. What’s our favorite aspect of winemaking? Watching friends and family enjoy our wines. Watch our new video to learn more.

Join us on our journey.

What’s in a Name?

Why Dancing Creek? We’re from Santa Cruz. We live in a crazy yellow house in a Happy Valley on a dancing creek.
